Friesian Goddess

Friesian Goddess

By The Bryarpatch

This gorgeous Friesian has the honor of being my very first large work on Bristol Board. She is stunning. I framed the original in an ornate befitting her status and entered her into a show. I picked her up from the framers, and delivered her to the show. I was so excited to see her hanging on the wall in all her glory. The first night of the show was Patron’s night and, not being a patron, I was not invited. So on night two I was there with bells on! I scoured the walls, no Goddess. I asked at the desk if it was still in the attic to be brought down as other works sold, and learned she had sold patron’s night and taken home with the new owner. UGH! Bittersweet. I’m thrilled someone loves her as much as I do, but I do wish I could have seen her hanging on the wall. I could always recreate her with a beautiful giclee print and that amazing frame, and so can you. Original is 12” x 16” on Bristol Board and hanging in a private collection.
